The smelloscope might actually be possible if it analyses the gas in the observed area and replicates what the smell would be on the receiving end as smell doesn't travel through space. I have some understanding of science but am not an expert if someone sees this that is an expert of science or at least has a good understanding of it, lmk if I am right or wrong about this because I am actually curious.
