I'd have put Mom's sons separate to herself, and put her below Wernstrom. She might be a greedy corporate tyrant, but she usually has the foresight to recognise that more people (human or otherwise) dying means less consumers of her products, and generally tries to avoid killing more than the protagonists because of this. And the whole robot revolution was born out of having her heart broken, turning her bitter.

Culture plays a strong role in human development, I'm not about to profess true libertarian free will either. That said if hard determinism is right: You're going to either post them or not regardless of any illusions of "Choice" and I'm probably going to reject them regardless of whether or not they're correct because as mentioned either my rejection of the deterministic position was pre-determined by prior factors and subsequently can't be any other way or it wasn't and I'm right to reject it because accepting it would make my life worse without even the minor token prize of also being correct.

By my open admission I don't hold to the idea out of intellectual vigor, indeed my intellectual evaluation ceases after the point that either I'm right and can continue on in the belief that I possess some form of admittedly limited free will or I'm wrong and my rejection of determinism was in and of itself deterministic and could not have been otherwise. As I already stated, I reject determinism because I find it inherently depressing and devaluing of the idea of being a conscious being in some sense. Being an atheist I can't resort to magic in the form of a "Soul" to explain away the logical inconsistencies but likewise I have enough depressing shit in my life without stripping away the ability to say "Fuck this, I'm a conscious being who makes choices and fuck the notion that I'm not on at least some small level in control of my own life". If preaching that we're all just deterministic machines makes you feel better then go for it, rejecting the notion and throwing some nebulous idea of what it means to be "Conscious" into the logical failures generated from that makes me feel better too and it's one of those areas where being wrong has literally no bearing on my life and thus I am willing to throw out my normal process of reaching conclusions in favour of just going with what makes me feel better about being a self sustaining chemical reaction on an insignificant speck of a planet. This might get blocked by some automod, I don't know, but if it does then c'est la vie, I'm not here to stroke my ego and we're just two randoms on the internet. I can't even be certain you exist in the first place. (Note, no I'm not a solipsist, I just can't necessarily prove that wrong either)

I would personally like to say that Zap should prboably have been MUCh further down the lsit than Sandta. As stated, Santa's Free Will is largely in question here. Zap? While we never see it on screen, he is responsible for just throwing countless human lives into a veritable meat grinder to accomplish even the most basic of military conquests, including trying to get numerous ships to fly directly into an alien war ship's primary cannons to JAM them instead of, you know, attacking the ship. and defeating the Kill Bots by exploiting their pre-set kill limit and just feeding men into the front line till that was reached. Is Santa a horrible entity too? Yes. He's a mass-murdering killing machine, but he does so not due to malice or a genuine desire to kill, but due to the failure of his creators to do their jobs right He has some culpability for his sins, but largely he doesn't control his actions. Except for the Neptunian enslavement. That's on him,.

Ogden wernstrom reminds me so much of the teachers in school when it came to science class. They never liked any student who ever try to broke any sort of science concept that somehow violated or question what was written in their so-called Holy Bible of a textbook. And they would purposefully punish all kids in the class who had an inkling and enjoyment for science, by saying that moving ahead in the modules would affect your grade badly. All because students decided to do something on their own initiative , instead of following the narrative and being obedient. Even to this day I'm pretty sure most science classes are like regardless if it takes place in elementary school or even high school. Most teachers hate children! and they hate children who are in interested in physical sciences the most! because they know they can't argue with the physical laws of the universe. So they turn out like wernstrom. Hateful angry and only out for themselves. Unlike Professor Farnsworth a man who took the time to even try to explain the basics of science engineering and Robotics to his own super super super ignorant great great great great great great great great great great great great great nephew. A young man who we can never forget actually did mistakenly have sex with his own grandmother due to an issue with time travel and a misunderstanding about just who his biological grandfather was. This is also why Farnsworth designed a time machine that could only move forward to ensure that nobody could do the same thing. Because fry sure did do the nasty in the Pasty
