“I came into marriage so unprepared and I understood His mercy now that I look back, how He was with me, how He was covering for me” “The lord speaks to you and he said you’ve made a lot of mistakes and that wasn’t the plan. The idea was to listen to My voice, to obey Me, let Me teach you how to be a great husband but since you didn’t in a lot of areas if you’re willing to repent , I’ll teach You how to correct it and teach others how to not make the same mistake” This made me start crying. The awareness, the vulnerability, the openness to admit your wrongdoings .. just beautiful Mr. Armstrong. Thank you for sharing

Amen God will lead you. My late husband was from KC Missouri and I lived in Alabama and his job moved him here and he moved in next door. And I'd always say. " What you think God's going to bring him to my front door" so I'd go seeking but God's way was as if he heard me. He was my neighbor all the way from KC Missouri. What an amazing blessing he had in store for me. What an amazing podcast 👏 👏👏👏👏🙏💜⚓️📖

I love these podcasts, so much wisdom. ❤ my husband and I did not grow up in Christian households. We became Christians when we were 17 and were married by 19. We just celebrated 10 years of marriage together and have 2 sweet boys (4) and (5). ❤ It’s challenging not having any Christian family on my husbands side or mine, but we are so thankful that He is with us and guiding us as we raise our boys to know the Lord.

I pray that God can use your family to be a light among your in laws. Even if they refuse the truth, if you did all you could do through God, then it's up to them to accept it. I pray for patience and forgiveness. And that God reveals to you the godly family you need to rely on, much love ❤

You only submit to a man you trust. And he needs to prove he is a man who is worthy of leading you. And leading you doesn't mean you don't communicate about what you want and need. It doesn't mean the man is always right, either. You need to also help him steer the ship from your feedback. His leadership should come from the feedback and communication he is getting from you. He needs to consider what is best for everyone. If a man is abusing his power and will not change you should never stay with him. You should never stay when there is abuse.

One thing I heard from someone else(unfortunatelycan'tremember who)... there are days where we struggle, and on those days, we need to tell our spouse for example I am at 70 percent today. I need you to be the extra 30 percent to cover me and vice versa. Especially when children come into your lives. We try to treat our marriages as 50/50 but sometimes we each need to take on a little more to help our spouse.
