For a show that is obvious advertisement and fanservice, they put lots of effort into it. One of my favorite DB villains is coming from this series too (Hearts). Kinda unbelievable.

@@Gwinnmusic I think they up-ed their game. Originally it seemed like just a filler series, giving us unbelievable scenarios, like Gogeta and Vegito fighting each other, and the Xeno Goku and Vegeta. But now I predict they started to take it much more serious, giving us alternate return villains like Goku Black and Broly. It appears to have turned in to just a pretend filler season, to actually fulfilling the fanservice. This was done unexpectedly well, though I'm still hoping that one day the Future Trunks we know will be able to wish back his timeline heroes so he can meet up with his own Future Gohan once again. But, this was definitely a great way to fulfill that itch we've been having with Future Gohan and Trunks. Now all we need to do is have this Future Gohan have a good talk with Goku and grandfather and I will feel completely fulfilled. The 3 of them talking together for the first time ever is going to be the greatest thing I'll ever see in the DBU.

This made me very emotional when Gohan saves trunks and mentions his errors about being lost or confused and being in despair, when they fight along side with each other, that made me shred a tear, future Gohan and future Trunks were unlucky, they were broken characters that lost everything they loved, this Gohan from another timeline lost trunks and Bulma, it’s very sad because he wasn’t strong enough to protect anyone from the androids, he ends up being confused, lost and in despair

This saga was ten times better than any of the Dragon Ball Super anime saga's. Future Gohan turning evil and trying to kill Future Trunks was exactly what when should have gotten during the Future Tranks saga during 2016, but it focused way too much on Goku, Vegeta and Goku Black. I'm glad that we got a chance to see what could have been 7 years ago. Seeing Master and Apprentice fighting side by side again after 20 years was amazing, I really wish that Present Gohan and Kid Trunks could have had the same friendship. Nothing bad during the 7 years of peace after the Cell Games, which is why they didn't seem to care about training. That's why Gohan and Kid Trunks struggled during their fight against Majin Buu.

Yeah, this is the closest we've ever gotten to getting a Gohan Black, and for some reason I'm satisfied with it! Although, I think we all can agree that if Zamasu ever made a Gohan Black he might very well be a greater terror of the universe than Goku Black ever was.

I think he was just lost in the pursuit of strength, which was the result of his own disappointment and despair, and somehow removed what used to be his focus out of his priorities. Not that he doesn't care anymore, but it just isn't his priority. This reminds me to always keep the initial aspirations in mind. It will serve as a guide.

(I'm a new fan so I might be wrong about some details) I feel for him. It must have been devastating to see the last hope destroyed, and he would probably be hard on himself. Yet there was no one to guide him or tell him it was not his fault. What I like about these last few episodes is that both Future Gohan and Trunks have their traumas from their past healed. It's like telling him that he was not weak, and that a weak person can also protect others. I guess Bardock's words in the later scene might have made him realize that he just hadn't got his potential released. These confidence-boosters can be very important to Future Gohan and audience like me.

Well, takes quite some time for art quality to be this good. I know art, so I can confirm. Don't assume it's only one person drawing all these episodes, it takes some team, some work till night to meet the deadlines. Then there's a writers team, sound effects and Voice acting team. They're working hard, believe in them!
