If grifball were to return, there would have to be MASSIVE modifications. Especially with the hammer. The hammer is just flat out too strong. People will be killing each other too fast, and there would be little reason to use the sword.

why is anyone asking for forge world wtf? the whole point of the map was to provide as much varied terrain as possible to cover as many bases as possible for potential builds. we can make terrain now. Not only would forge world serve zero purpose and take up needless dev time for no reason at all since it would be completely useless, but it would be double nonsensical because you can already make it yourself, its just redundant. Its literally already in the game, and better than the og one

Exactly. I think Forge could have been absolutely phenomenal if you had access to all of the halo games content. Imagine spawning in halo 2 arbiter vs some forerunner enemies from halo 4 or 5 With the scripting of halo infinite, it could have been something really cool. The weapon and vehicle variants from Halo 5 could have been such an interesting addition, or even the those big grunts.

I honestly would have no issue with no new maps from 343, BUT I would want to see more maps from forgers ideally with better incentives for forgers. The quality of new maps needs to stay very high. As a new player that is what drew and hooked me to Halo. Seeing rich textures, beautiful lighting and atmosphere, and the ring in the background is key. Some of those forge maps are on the mark

Hearing that description for sky port made me realize the reason i stopped playing infinite, and thats because the seasonal stories stopped. Those were a huge part for why i kept coming back, but now i haven’t played in months

I have a theory to why these maps are releasing like this and each update is seemingly proving it right. These maps you are seeing finished by Sperasoft were in the game files as block-outs since around season 3 or 4. 343 most likely lost the devs who were working on these maps due to the layoffs and budget cuts. That is why they proceeded to hire Sperasoft to just finish the maps so that they have some form of playable content to add to the game. Pretty cut and dry example of poor management.

That's what I figure has been going on for quite awhile. Argyle was released as a dev forge map, made with human assets yet looks like it was meant to be forerunner. They lost their dev team/contract work and took the block outs and made it in forge.

Remember when 343 said after Halo 5 they would never launch another Halo without the core gamemodes because they took like 2 years to get infection in the game? Hear we are in infinite still no griffball and they also didn't have other gamemodes as well. Also no split screen which they said every Halo after 5 would have.

We DEFENITLY need some passionate Forgers to remake those unfinished maps and bring them to "343 Forge Content Standart", then pitch them to 343 as a replacement for those maps! If that fails (the replacement pitch), pitch Forge Remake maps to Forge playlist, that way we still would have a better versions in the game! Remember, this is only My wishfull thinking, and it has a VERY low chance to come into fruition at all, so don't expect anything from it.

I would love headhunter in infinite, me and a homie made a rpg game in reach with it using the skulls as currency to buy stuff. Had an outer wildland and island with no rules and a city with a car shop weapon shop and equipment shop as well as a jail. You could kill people anywhere except inside the city walls. I think the reason why the sparasoft forge maps look unfinished is because they are trying to release them in that monthly release. Compared to the community forge maps which look beautiful due them having no due dates on when to finish their maps. But hey that’s just me guessing
