Ryan Singrossi yeah that’s not downtown tho. San Francisco has skyscrapers outside of its downtown core. Three 600 foot towers are going to be constructed in “the hub” district which is west of downtown at Market and Van Ness. There’s also towers going up in central soma neighborhood which is outside of downtown. San Francisco will always have a much more impressive skyline. Period.

Well both LA & SF have many risks building large towers due to earthquakes which is why we don’t have so many towers as other cities. + buildings can work as fake canyons and create strong winds which affect other things.

God World you wish, San Francisco will always have the best skyline. Bridges and waterfront, can’t compete. A few new towers in LA won’t compare to an already dense San Francisco skyline. Plus we have more towers on the way, three 600 foot towers, the third 800 foot tower is going to break ground, and the rezoning of the Central SoMa plan opened the doors for developers to build taller in central soma. LAs skyline won’t ever beat out SF’s.

Ninjamaster1AL it’s not what it seems to be. I live here and traffic is a nightmare, prices are extremely high especially for gas. Gas can range from $3.89 to $5.99. You better be making good money to afford LA

Michael Rojas I love LA. Yes sometimes it's a little frustrating dealing with traffic, but because I spend about 70% of my work hours on the LA freeways I've become numb to the traffic. Gas can be expensive depending where in the city you are, but I lived in Sacramento before moving to LA and gas was pretty much the same.

I know they recently began moving them into temporary housing until new housing for them is complete. It takes time for this kind of thing. San Diego, Seattle, SF are experiencing the same problem. The west coast was somewhat unprepared for the influx of people moving in. Not enough housing.
