I just noticed that “Time to Fight! (Bionis’ Shoulder)” has 1 exclamation mark, “Battle!! Torna” has 2 exclamation marks, and “New Battle!!!” has 3 exclamation marks. Considering all three DLCs were being worked on pretty close to each other, it’s possible that the localizers did it on purpose as an easter egg.

Outside of Alpha's theme persisting through the menu and chain attack, my favourite change that they made in the DLC was NOT letting the time default to morning when skip travelling. Getting to hear the night themes of the new tracks in-game really adds to the experience. I thought they did the same for the base game after this update but they didn't. I was 99% sure that it was Joanne singing during the trailer and I got super nostalgic when I saw her name on the credits. I can't wait for the future of the Xeno series.

I had planned on playing through the entire Xeno series before the DLC came out, starting with Xenoblade 1 (since I had never finished it myself), then moving onto Xenoblade X for a replay where I fully completed all the side quests, and then throwing in the Saga and Gears games at the end just for fun; to see where the series came from and the themes and stuff that carried on into Xenoblade. Unfortunately the DLC released a lot earlier than I anticipated so I ended up interrupting the X playthrough in order to play it and part of me is a little sad that I didn't play Xenogears and Xenosaga before Future Redeemed. I still can appreciate Joanne Hogg coming back to sing The Future Awaits, but I'll never know just how hard that would hit me (as well as the implications of The Radioᵗᵐ) had I played Saga and Gears before coming to this.

If it just had like another town, with more or less the same amount of character colony 9 does, an Uraya/Satorl Marsh like place and some more cutscenes, I would consider it the greatest game of all time, at least my favorite without a doubt, as it stands I put it on second behind XB1, just because it's hard to compare it to a full game.

Needed a few more zones from XC2. Like for example the ship at the start of XC2 where Pyra was sleeping, or even better : some of the Orbital station. Imagine if the zone would be called "Radamanthe's remnants" or something. And Rex has a lot of things to say about it of course.

@N. E. XC2's Battle!! plays on the base game, which also has way more xenoblade 2 references than 1, so they balanced it out in the DLC. I also don't think it was rushed, or shortened or anything, it's just the size they decided for it, which is pretty huge considering this is just DLC.

In the base game, every time you skip travel, it sets automatically the time to morning so I hardly ever heard the night themes, but they fixed it in the extension, so I got to experience Prison Island Night the right way

Something I love about your Xenoblade music overviews are the fact that you actually get the game and know the background bits and bobs of the series Something most people would just guess upon i "HAVE" to assume you've played through at least a few of them, otherwise you did your research extremely well

Well since you ask... I only played the OG Xenoblade once, the year of its release... I don't have time for JRPGs, ironically partly because these videos take really long to make. But Xenoblade has such good music that I go out of my way to appreciate it the way it was intended. For example, for this video, I watched all cutscenes through, adding context by looking at the surrounding bits in playthroughs.

The music for the first phase of the Alpha fight is called Alpha, the divine end. Second phase is called Alpha, the divine beginning and end.
