Why Paramount Plus is the WORST Streaming Platform

My main issue with Paramount Plus is how unstable it is. Simple actions such as rewinding, pausing, and even navigating the service will freeze/crash the application.

They don’t even have Paramount Plus outside of the US. I live in Puerto Rico and every time there’s a show that’s only there I need to get an illegal stream to watch it since it’s the only way.

What episode are those? I never had problems with those Surprising I didn't have this problem where Netflix though. For a long time there there was a johnny test episode that had no audio just music.

I personally have no idea why even Paramount+ exist here in Latin America. The reason?, it's because a lot of us we prefer Pluto TV, it has almost the same catalog of Paramount+ (yes, including South Park and Avatar The Last Airbender) and the best part: it's FREE!. Sure it has ads here and there but are just a couple of seconds to one minute max. And one funny thing is that actually the only reason of why some people has Paramount+ here is because can comes for free in some cable/satelital TV services, that's all. 😂

@ absolutely when they decided to cut the cartoons it went way downhill Close Enough was great, Infinity Train, Over The Garden Wall, etc. they had such a huge catalog ontop of most of the DC animated shows and once it became the ironic name of “Max” it got so widdled down even with the classic movies too

Hulu is the same when it comes to shows with not all episodes. Not all South Park episodes are on there. And if you’re in a month with a major holiday, EVERY available episode other than a holiday one is available.

In the uk there is a continue watching option. I agree there are problems like the missing episodes. Which is why I brought South Park on dvd so as to be able to watch them all . What really irks me though is SpongeBob being advertised as having all episodes and yet one is missing. Midlife crustacean and why? Well according to google the episode is banned because of the end scene with a panty raid. And as a result that episode is missing from streaming. Yet according to paramount plus they have every single episode available to watch.

This era is so ridiculous. I just want cable how it used to be again. The. only good services are Netflix, Amazon and Disney, and no one wants to buy the others and if you don't you're screwed because all of the stuff is split up over multiple services. Paramount Plus almost never works on my TV, PS5, or computer. It takes forever to load anything, is extremely laggy, and will straight up just crash sometimes. It’s also annoying how much content it’s missing. I’ve been trying to watch Drake and Josh and half the episodes are missing.

In this comments I would like to start off by listing what I agree with you on and then what I disagree with you on and then mentioning something that I wish people would actually mention in their videos in regards to South Park especially the cartoon Wars 2 part episode. Then after that I'll give you a suggestion of what I think you should do when it comes to watching South Park. I agree with you that Paramount Plus is faulty and does not have the best interface and glitches and has a lot of problems. It sucks that you can't find every episode of South Park on there. Last time I was on Paramount plus which was many months ago there wasn't even a single South Park episode on there. All they had were those new South Park specials that were made exclusively for Paramount Plus. It sucks that now you require more streaming sites to basically watch the same amount of shows you were able to watch before when all you had was just Hulu and Netflix. What I disagree with you on however is that no you don't need every single streaming site out there to have good shows. Hulu by itself has plenty of great shows. And unlike other streaming sites, anything from major networks the newest episodes will appear on Hulu the very next day so you don't have to wait a whole year to watch the next season. There are of course some exceptions. It's really frustrating what has happened when it comes to South park. South Park used to be on Hulu and they had every episode except for the banned episodes however, the cartoon war two-part episode was on Hulu back when Hulu had the show. It was very much available at the time. Why cartoon Wars is no longer available baffles me. I get it has something to do with the prophet Muhammad but they didn't even show him on screen. And when the show was on Hulu the episode was available. It sucks that HBO Max took the show away from Hulu and it took the cartoon Wars 2 part episode away from everyone to watch as well. And now in order to watch everything that South Park has to offer you actually have to pay for two different streaming sites. That is uncool! You shouldn't have to pay for two separate things to watch everything from one show. That is absolutely not okay! Here's what I think you should do when it comes to South park. Are you aware there was a website called South Park studios that has a variety of South Park episodes available you can watch for free without having to resort to pirating or trying to Google some random website that stream the episode that is unofficial? South Park studio is by I guess Paramount or comedy Central or the guys behind South Park I guess and is an official source to watch a variety of South Park episodes. Now unfortunately not all the episodes are available but it is completely free. It does have ads but if you have an ad blocker it'll skip the ads. I think you should watch South Park on there instead of looking for it and Paramount Plus or Max.

Paramount does suck. Rewinding is impossible 😂 you know how on every other streaming services you can rewind a second or two or fastfoward? With paramount you get to figure out if you went back 2 seconds by waiting for it to buffer just to realize when it loads that you actually stayed at the exact mark where you tried to rewind or fast forward from. Not to mention the lag that comes with just scrolling through the options. It seems like its always in the beta version of the app

Tubi has this interesting glitch, I watched Free Birds and the caption (rated PG) was stuck in the corner of the screen and would not go away. There were no ads at all. If you know Tubi, then you know Tubi is free

Not content to just put ads in their paid service and paid movie rentals, Amazon has a terrible new UI for purchased media. Learn to sail the high seas safely. Teach trustworthy friends. Build great communities. Pass the knowledge onto the next priest as it has been passed on by those before you. And then you have a choice to support official services when they earn your business.

At least Paramount Plus is nowhere near as god-awful as Max.. It used to be the best streaming service out there back when it had HBO in the name. Then David Zaslav found it and massacred the hell out of it's animation section, and filled that empty slot he left with horrible reality TV shows that are only used as background noise when you're doing chores. I swear, that incident alone points out everything wrong with streaming nowadays.
