I agree that our future weapons will lead with quality over quantity. The ability to pinpoint a target to lesson collateral damage is to be applauded. Less use of boots on the ground and more use if high impact technology is definitely a game changer. Thank you for highlighting these incredible weapons in the video.

I thought the same thing. Makes you wonder if they’re foreign intelligence agencies using individuals and bots as part of their continuing effort to try and change minds if the least educated online by turning them against sovereign, democratic nations. Russia and China for example were highly successful at using thousands of fake Twitter accounts that pushes lies, hoaxes, misinformation and conspiracy theories targeted to conservatives and christian fanatics. They were so successful that millions of American conservatives were willing to overthrow the U.S. Constitution with an attempted insurrection coup d’état. Luckily they failed at overthrowing the longest running secular democratic republic in history, but those hostile intelligence services continue to use their social media attacks to this day-they continue to be highly successful. The goal is to twist and minimize American government and military on vids like this as well as turn the least educated Americans against their own democracy in order to push religious theocracy and authoritarian fascism. Hell, millions of conservatives became Trump and Qanon cultists and wanted to overthrow a free and fair democratic election in order to replace it with a fascist demagogue wannabe dictator called Trump. Hostile foreign intelligence services were instrumental in fomenting and building up those demographics.

Hmmm , a very short.look forward, not really a great leap , more a short step. Most of the stuff it talks a bout is I'm the past already and we are into the 2nd generation or later of the technology. Enjoyed this . thanks for the upload

Most wonderful documentary coverage Episode about futures warfare... how USA 🇺🇸 Scientific ,technology efforts continue adoption Mostly modest technologies for 1- first finds targets, 2- First detecting targets 3- First illuminating targets in all kinds of circumstances...depending mainly on computerized processing & guidance shells 🐚, bombs 💣 even explosiveness bulletin....what is remarkable that US advisors continues processing their attacking doctrines depending on concentrating- guidance firepower, highly unsuspected minnuvoraity - stealth capability, computerized controllers.... (Mike Guardia) channel always sharing informative, interesting episodes

I just saw a clip of a new bullet from DARPA for snipers that adjusts mid flight to hit it's target and supposedly up to 10 miles away...just watching the clip of the shot was absolutely crazy

Since the US government knew full well that Sadam Hussain didn't have any "weapons of mass destruction" I think it's safe to say that Desert Storm was just to test the militarys new weapons systems in a very desirable landscape and there was still a 90% civilian death rate

I think you've mixed up Operation Desert storm from 1991 and Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2003

Good stuff, but produced in 1991, so it's dated. Still worth watching and the message is still valid.🙂🙂

so heres my observations for critiquing this 30 year old show smart munitions- brilliant bombs never caught on but they are still used en masse. Cheaper versions being used to flood air defenses. nukes- only used as a madman strategy but have done more to not cause war rather than be used in war. stealth- everyone sort of tried to get their own 5th gen, but now they're looking at 6th gen in development- starstreak, eurofighter, gripen, and raptor in service tanks- M1 is still very usefull (only leopard shills hate it), challenger is out, challenger 2 is still here, challenger 3 is still a ways off. wont be main arm and thrust? Iraq and Ukraine have proved that wrong, no matter how different both conflicts were. MPF tank- it only took the army 40 years to get a new light tank Helictopers- Tiger is in service. Comanche never came into service VTOL- Osprey is in service with the US and Japan, blackhawk replacement looks a lot like it stealth bombers- B-21 just came in Information War- I dont think the JSTARS is in service, if not in super duper low numbers "spartan suits"- Even 30 years later we dont have halo gear but we do have GPS and cell phones. And exosuits still arent here nor practical UAV's- we all know how this went, i dont think tracer ever went into service music - all reused in the PS2 ace combat games

The only fifth generation fighter in the world is the F-35. Just because Russia and China want to claim 5th gen doesn't mean their 4th generation fighters with stealth count as true next generation.
