В источниках встречаются разные цифры американцев, погибших в Юго-Восточной Азии (40 тысяч, 56 тысяч, 57 тысяч, 60 тысяч) 2600 пропали без вести. 800 попало в плен. Афганистан на 1979 год там было 41 млн жителей. Война шла 10 лет. СССР ввёл войска которые в среднем не превышали 100.000. Иногда было 90 иногда 110. Погибла 15.000 советских солдат. Около 90 пропало без вести.

As an englishman i commend the flying skills of the argentine pilots in san carlos bay in particular..Had some of those bombs actually detonated i believe the outcome of the war may have been different...rest well the fallen of both sides over this silly squabble...

I knew a girl who grew up in Estonia during this time and she said that her mother used to have to fist fight with other women in the "lines" for clothes and sometimes food and she was so proud of her mothers fighting skills because her and her sisters had such nice clothes. They wore them proudly
