Hazel sat by her living room window as she always did, watching the blinking lights and grinding gears of the giant metal beast shake the ground of her quiet town. Every evening it would make three rounds before moving on and the old woman watched it with distant eyes as she continued rocking in her chair. How much had this community lost since she was young? Where were the birds, and the laughter, and the green? The Federation had stolen far more than their prosperity. Over the years, it had taken their souls. The machine turned the corner to make it's final pass for the night. Hazel pulled a device from beneath the crocheted blanket on her lap and flipped a switch. Her window shattered with a deafening blast. Hot metal and debris rained down as dust and smoke filled the street. Picking herself up from the floor with ringing in her ears, she shakily wiped a tear. Her grandchildren would know joy. The uprising had begun.

For sure! I generate my images using Midjourney. If that’s something you’re interested in there are a lot of helpful resources online about how to prompt and get certain styles. I’m very inspired by the works of Simon Stalenhag :) If you’re interested in learning how to make this kind of art from scratch then that’s even better! Then you would have to research what kind of software to use for digital sci fi art. I hope that helps point you in the right direction!

"Lets pull into here, looks sleepy enough." Dell eases the grav-tram into a parking spot underneat the roof of the charge station. The roar of the ion engine vanishes as it lands with a thud, the smell of ozone filling Domitia's senses as she rises from the bed of the truck, checking her surroundings. The pink sky of the late day frames the small town in a eeire calm. The bellator cycles through her various visor scopes, on the look out for anything hostile, doesnt matter which side theyre on, Dell and her are still in the crosshairs of both. She doesnt find signs of mechs or the swift movements of shells, but instead the heat sigs of curious civilians and the warm light of comerical vehicles. She pulls her visor up, able to see the people who peer out of homes and businesses, looking curiously at the pair of bounty hunters. "You twos soldiers?" Domitia whirls around, an old man sat at the charge station looks on, half smoked cigarette clenched in his teeth. "Just passing by, thats all," Dell says as he watches the charge station do its work. "Didnt answer me, son," He leans forward, taking his smoke out of his mouth, "Yous soldiers?" "No." Domitia answers. "Bounty hunters." "Ah, right." He leans back, smoke going back to the spot between his teeth, "Well charge up and fuck off. Dont need any trouble here." "We'll be gone as soon as possible, sir." Dell looks back over at Domitia, "Lovely bunch." "Its a warzone, Dell, hardly any nice people left."
