This time, I stayed overnight at "Nine hours Akasaka", capsule hotel in Tokyo, Japan. The hotel provides you sleep analysis for free and it felt futuristic in every way. Just relax, sit back, and enjoy the video!

I love that Japan has restaurants that help introverts / shy people feel more comfortable. The BBQ place & your booth at Café Gaston (?) looked cozy. I personally thought the cat robot server was adorable, not soulless! ☺

I wish they had these in the USA so many times you just dont want to deal with humans.

Yes, I do agree with you! They are very good at catering to the more introverted crowd, and it's nice when you're out and about by yourself. 😀 However, I think in some cases, they can overdo it. Japanese culture tends to be very secluded and in some cases even promote isolation. Depression is rampant in Japanese society and a lot of times it's unintentionally further propagated by isolating people and discouraging social interaction. 😞

I'm very introverted and I don't struggle with ordering food. Not everything needs to be tailored to weakness but I digress. At least there's no question as to who's responsible for wrong orders.

Overall everything is interesting. But everything is to avoid other people, even in restaurants. OK, I understand the robot waiters if there are not ebough workers and it works well. I liked the most that you can order via a screen and you do not have to wait for a bill. I would have no problem with this sort of hotel. It was clean and the hotel looked nice. And it was very cheap, no disadvantage. After seeing this I do not wonder that the Japanese population is decreasing, if they go solo for BBQ, breakfast and have no conversation at all. Japan is interesting and I think I will travel one time to this country. Very special.

@Christine C. For years in my pocket of VA one or the "highest rated" steak places was a place where they brought you your raw cut of steak and you had to go to the charcoal pit grill in the back of the dining room and cook it yourself. I worked there as a teenager and didn't get why people liked it so much. But I like KBBQ style places, I just don't always have folks to go with so this would be perfect for 20 bucks and all that.

It’s amazing isn’t it that there are these unique opportunities for people who’d like to know what a country is like or where to stay before one embarks on their own adventure or vacation I wish them all well May they all have safe travels

The more of these types of videos I watch, the more I think Japan would be a great country to travel as a solo older female. Economical, safe, great food, interesting scenery and friendly people. Love the ideas of capsule hotel stays, trains and ferry travel as well.

I remember staying at a capsule hotel in Tokyo or Akhiabara (I'm not quite sure) and both of them were not size friendly. Someone like me, 6'7, and claustrophobic would find any capsule hotel a nightmare. I especially asked me travel agent to get me something size friendly, and she got me a box to live in.

I love the individual booths in the restaurant and being able to cook your own meal. It was great to see how it all works and see the amenities provided. Everything looks spotless and I would love to try the hotel someday. I look forward to watching more of your uploads. I have shared the channel with friends and family. I even showed it to my mum, she was very impressed. Everything is so orderly and calm and modern, it's great fun to watch. I hope you keep up the good work

For passing through alone, and not wanting to spend money on unused space, this is outstanding. Considering the price of a hotel room, economic too. Less of a problem with someone sneaking in a guest too. Good job on the apnea thing, I got 672 times in just 8 hours, critical apnea! But got me a cool face mask to force air down my lungs when I try stopping in my sleep. You feel better when you wake up.

My only problem with this place is that one has to go two floors away to access the toilet. It is rather problematic for people like me who hydrate myself often. Apart from that I think this is a cool experience.

Definitely. There should be toilets on the same floor as the beds. I have this psychological thing where if I wait even a little while between using the rest room and going to bed, I won't be able to sleep because I'll feel like I have to pee. 😂
