Finally! The best hotel you have reviewed and you can lock your door for safety! Kyoto is lovely and the Nishiki Market is probably open just daytime hours like regular farmer's market? So I would book this hotel for at least two or three nights so to visit Nishiki during daytime. The Ponto-cho Street walk is so beautiful and you are a smart host to have knowledge of all these things! Thank you🌿

My preference is on the other end of the spectrum: colorful, messy and-might I say it?-a little more interesting? 鍵付き個室だと、法的には簡易宿泊施設では無いので、カプセルホテルでは無いですね。 まあ雰囲気あって便利そうだし、安価でも安心して泊まれそうなので、人気になりそう。 私も京都に泊まる時には、、、って日帰りできる距離なので、なかなかチャンスは無いですが コレ目当てで泊まるのもアリかな？と感じました。

I would 100% stay in a hotel like that. I wish American zoning and land use regulations would make such things possible, but we have comically bad rules almost everywhere. A place like this would be perfect for young people or for people who are travelling relatively quickly and don't need anything fancy. I'd love it if they had these at interstate rest stops for cross-country travellers!
