Great stuff Fuzz, I cut my teeth on Fleetliners, MCW, Scania, Volvo buses. Then I drove Lodekka's across Europe which increased my admiration for the Gardner, from having a partial seizure in Italy and still covering a few thousand K's to get me home 👍 Correct me if I am wrong but I think the hydraulic throttle slave cylinder is the same as the Mini clutch cylinder?

Gardner's have place in history, I installed the first Gardner 5cylinder turbo into MCW Metrobus Mk3chassis , test run engine to check engine mountings then transferred to Metrobus TOJ592S for road trials did not quite finish before move to Optare so was removed by Stevenson and replaced by 6lxb, I have been to the Rolls Royce , Gardner and Cummins factories and installed there products but I preferred the Cummins L10 driveability and access

Lovely. Is that a hydraulic accelerator?. Better than a convoluted 35 feet cable or rod arrangement.
