So it’s not that simple. If the Yankees had no problem with a $400 mil payroll what do I care? I would be all for signing Soto. It’s clear Soto alone was not going to be enough so at the end of the day maybe him leaving is the best thing that could have happened?

It appears to me some of these free agents do not want to go teams who are expected to go to the World Series which is not good. When you see tucker going to the cubs and not to teams like the dodgers ,the Red Sox , guardians the Yankees and the Mets you are only 25 yrs or 27 yrs for so long.
