47 crew members were on board. 42 of them survived and were rescued (with most suffering from severe hypothermia) while the other 5 crew members were killed. Additionally, 4 of them were recovered dead, while one was never found.

This was cause by Mother Nature that destory the propellers to move the boat. List of survivors, and list of deaths. This is one of the worst ships that Alaska ever had.
