Just started watching. Total novice. But definitely, like so many of us, wanna go as much off grid as possible and as much battery powered as possible for so many reasons. Anxious to watch this and encourage the owl channel to really dive into sustainable battery power opportunities. Would love to camp and only use battery power. Thanks. I'm confused. Does the Sprekko have one or two alternators? It sounds like if I am buying a new Sprekko, I should get the single battery model because it is easier to upgrade. Did I get that right?

Yes, you have it correct

The vehicle has two alternators. One on the Mercedes side is dedicated to charging the main starting battery and a second aftermarket alternator is dedicated to charging the Ekko house lithionics batteries that run all the devices in the rear. Always get the single battery option so that you have more avenues available to increase charging rates later.

Owl, you might consider an online course that you charge for that takes novices and numb nuts like me from the very beginning steps to full independence in our vehicles with battery powered vehicle infrastructure. If that makes any sense. I’d gladly pay for it if I knew that it was really going to take me from total ignorance to total self reliance. Thanks.
