As a teenager in the 1970's I sprayed my 1946 Packard clock with WD 40 and it works to this day. Keeps time as well . My first car.

In the 1980s someone sprayed WD40 in my face... it made me fighting mad - I've calmed down a little bit since then!

We are always impressed when we film the FantomWorks folks doing the things that require the most delicate of touches!

I did something similar with a 50 year old grandfather clock. It works perfectly, chime mechanism and everything.

My clock in my 70 Z/28 Camaro uses points to wind up the clock which springs open every couple of minutes to energize it.

I would use Mash air flow sensor cleaner ...leaves no residue

Good idea, but imo Contact Cleaner is best.

For some reason the way you sound & move your mouth while talking makes me think of Nicolas Cage.. I swear after wAtching three videos back to back I fell like this is the “Nick Cage Restoration” channel…. LOL 😂😂😂 👍🏼👍🏼

Love the show and always have! Just a suggestion... maybe use contact cleaner and canned air instead of brake parts cleaner. Not nearly as harsh on plastic components but does the job. As an electronic's engineer, i use that stuff on a weekly basis

How come Chevy put the clock in the dash instead of the right side pod like the Chevy Bellaire in 1956-1957

Good question. Got any answers?

Does anyone know how to find the replacemwnt emblems on these clocks? I need one set of the flags , Corvette's name, and one of the fuel injection words.

If you listen to this in the background, it sounds like Nicholas Cage has a new clock fixin show 🙂
