I see this almost every time I trail ride in the Ocala National Forest. They have way to few FWC officers working the forest. Seems like most times when I see them working they are at a boat ramp checking safety gear, fishing license, fish caught etc. Or on the trail system trying to catch some out of bounds trail rider on an ATV, UTV or Jeep. Poaching goes on non stop in the forest. I guess the revenue generators are where they are told to spend their time working?

FWC is too spread thin to be out on every WMA all the time, especially ocala. Fisheries are a little more fragile so they focus more on that. Also, Ocala is federal land. The feds should be out there more than FWC anyway. That's how it is in big cypress anyway
