Robo, thank you for making this video, It’s my favorite one on the channel, Seeing these customs is so inspiring to me as a younger customizer, and even though you’re too humble to admit it, these are all awesome in their own way, and I’ve wanted to see them close up for a long time, Customizing so magical and I so happy that you shared some of your most awesome ones with us :)

Customs are awesome. Sometimes all you have to do is swap parts around and you have exactly what yer looking for, and other times sculpting and/or painting is required, but it's always fun.

I'm a HUGE Secret Six fan and those customs are amazing! Don't beat yourself up too much. Every artist always sees the flaws in their works. You should be proud of what you accomplished! Also-I'm PRETTY SURE that Mattel came out with a Parademon figures for their movie JUSTICE LEAGUE line. (I think they showed up in Five Below's when I saw them)

Yeah, I'm my own worst critic. And I gotta think there's a good base for Parademon out there by now. I need to go back and look at the design again.

All those amazing customizers on the Fwoosh pushed me to try making figures. I was rough at doing that. I also discovered I didn’t have as much fun as making ships out of common items/foamboard. Glorbes is my muse. He’d take a coke bottle and imagination and make amazing Spacecraft. So I made a Milano, MX-68, HISS, Dinobot Grimlock, etc from stuff I understood what to make things with. But one thing I have always appreciated about the Fwoosh is the vast amount of talent and skill that site gives forum to.

On a side note, I may have finally found someone whose work I like and available for commission to create a figure I've wanted to create for a long time, Holly Granger Hawk.

I remember the days when I'd go into the fwoosh forums and seeing these figures freshly posted. I actually remember Bane vividly, you actually had a crossbones head on there originally but switched to a better head which I believe was a rescuplted Ares head as were the hip n thighs and it was Flash's shin boots. I love that figure to this day and have the fodder of similar parts, specifically the Motuc figure to use for the torso.

Glad to see the Secret Six love. Wasn't my favourite series, but some of the character work was great. Your Bane honestly holds up really well, and would be a great way to hold a display over until Mafex finally release that Knightfall Bane. I didn't know about the elastic band trick, but that's an awesome way to have a belt! Your Jay Garrick looks good, but I just like a thicker thunderbolt. You're absolutely right to think that Johnny Sorrow is the best one. The way you did the mask is awesome! Was so curious how you did it until you showed the wire. Looks perfect for some photography. Looks good and is really functional. I might have to try my hand at making a Johnny Sorrow using that trick now.
@tomtudorweaver1078 Жыл бұрын
I'm sorry, I know you kind of laughed off that Johnny Sorrow floating face effect, but that looked incredible! I was tripping out until you turned it to the side, and the whole rotation/tilt effect was amazing. I just got the Neca Invisible Man last month which attempted a similar floating head effect but not quite as well, it's visible at nearly every angle. Granted I get one's a custom that doesn't need mass production durability or safety standards, but I don't think any official product could pull off that effect as well as your custom does.
