FX Crown Hunting and Groups

his video is about my FX Crown. I purchased this rifle in 2018 and has been one of my favorite rifles that I have ever owned. Modifications include:
- Heavier Hammer
- High Flow Dual Barrel Port
- Huma Pin Probe
- Huma High Pressure Regulator
- 700cc Carbon Fiber Bottle
I shoot this rifle in both .22 and .30 cal. The shots in this episode will be coming from both calibers.

I just subscribed. I enjoy varmint shooting and go as often as I can. Originally from Rosemead, Cal now living in Texas. We didn't have ground squirrels in Rosemead but in Tx. we have those and prairie dogs, coyotes and thousands of hogs. Just came back from a hog/coyote hunt over the weekend. Am enjoying your vids and wonder how often you get to go hunting? I recently bought a Walther Reign in .22 cal and really enjoy it. Thanks for sharing and keep 'em coming.

Hello Dixon. The pin probe, high flow dual barrel port, and high pressure regulator all were purchased from Huma Air. You may purchase a 700cc bottle from pretty much anywhere nowadays. Thank you for watching.

How do you like this Crown compared to your Impact M3? I have 2 M3's, 1 Sniper in 30 cal and 1 Compact in 22, but I've been craving one of the Crown Continuum's. Your input would be greatly appreciated on this, thanks.

I love them all. The Crown is the smoothing shooting rifle that I own. The Impacts feel like a box of razor blades but I love them just the same. If I’m hunting, it’s the Impacts hands down. If I’m sitting at the bench, it’s the Crown.

The 115 yard slow motion shot looks to show the pellet bouncing of the head and hitting the dirt to the left. Strange that their was no penetration. Also these animals flopped around a lot more than I would of expected. Tuff critters.

Yeah. It’s a lot of prep JUST TO HUNT. I don’t think people, including myself, at first, realize how much goes into shooting air rifles vrs a powder burner. It’s more akin to archery. VERY much susceptible to wind and yardage mistakes.

Very true. I use to shoot powder burners religiously every weekend, especially after discharging. While I had pellet pistols and rifles as a child, today’s PCP air rifles are leaps and bounds ahead of those days. With that said, the amount of fine tuning that goes into shooting air rifles has made me a much better powder burner shooter. Thanks for watching.

@@HunterOne_Productions Very true. I’ve really neglected my powder burners just because of closures and such. I have plenty of room out here to shoot them, but the neighbors are too close, so I’ve been shooting my air rifles a lot. I went to the range with my rifles, the last time being back in July, and my groups were considerably tighter. Always a good video as usual. 👍
