Wow oh wow oh wow. Look I knew this gun was good but I never thought it was this good. Never heard of a 30 cal that has close to 100 shots per fill producing over 80ft lbs for the whole 100 shots. And with hole on hole accuracy for that matter. Now I see why this gun is priced the way it is and now I see why everyone wants an impact. Outstandingly informative video as always friend. Hello teammate. I love this gun I have one for my 2025 100yrd Bench competition setup. M4 .30 Cal 700mm sniper with a Theos scope, Yokozuna Silencer, saber tactical back bone and lower rail, 1/26 twist liner, Carbon fiber barrel and shroud with the harmonic Tuner and man this thing will stack the pellets. I just won a Benchrest competition in Louisiana. There were 7 impacts in the shooting. I out shot them all with my Redwolf Safari. There was this guy with a kalibre Cricket shooting hole in hole up to 75 yards. If you don’t want to spend $2000 on an air rifle, I find that cricket hard to beat.

Question regarding the reliability of the FX Impact (and FX airguns in general): I read different things here and there on internet forums. Any (history of) known issues? Problems with leaks, with valve, with regulator, with micro/macro wheel and hammer, with magazine, ... ? Can you recommend this pcp rifle?

This is my 3rd FX Impact and I do recommend them. I have many videos on the FX M3. Both the M3 and M4 are very accurate, very customizable, and very reliable. I have not had any issues with the ones I have. In my opinion, the M3 and M4 shoot pellets better than slugs. I use slow twist pellet liners for my M3 rifles. The M3 has won many 100-yard benchrest competitions.

I like it a lot and I have two other M3s so this is my third FX Impact. I'm going to make my mods to it and take it out to 100 yards in part-2 video. I also Love the AEA in 357 cal. I have the AEA 357 in Challenger Pro, Challenger Pro Long Barrel, and Challenger Elite.

Hi, Very easily the best video I have seen on this rifle, extremely thorough, only thing I didn’t catch was what pellet you were using and the weight of it, very impressive rifle. Myself I not crazy over the tactical style, although I have a few in other brands. I have a FX King synthetic on order, I have a couple of the DRS Wood stock versions, I am kinda old so I like the more traditional style rifle, but thanks for sharing, really enjoy your videos, keep em coming!

I really appreciate that Kurt. I probably have 30+ hours filming and editing that video, so when I get feedback like yours it makes it all worth while. :-) I shoot the AEA 50.5g pellets in all 30 cal rifles. The AEA pellets shoot like slugs; the faster you shoot them, the better they group.

With a new gun do you clean barrel before use

I usually clean the barrel on all new guns and about every 500 shots.... However, I forgot to clean the barrel on the new rifle before I shot the video.

If I can ever afford a fx m4 I'll be getting one in 30 cal sniper, I have a fx wildcat mk3bt sniper 22cal and love it I have it at 62fpe with 30 and 30.5 gr slugs, awesome video👍

Thanks for vid, I have a .22 M3, had it since February 2022, it still surprises me how accurate it is. I even put targets out at past 150yds and it seems easy and groups well. Would have been interested to hear at what pressure/shot count the speed finally started dropping, you said you were at 100 bar (10 under reg) and the speed was still up. Something I haven’t tested with my m3 as I keep it topped up but now I’m wondering if I could let it go further down till the speed starts to drop. Although, I thought that wasn’t recommended to go below reg pressure?

Thanks Ian. I was shocked to see 80 shots out of the box with this rifle. On my 80th shot the speed was right there with average speed. I was finished at 100 bar on a reg at 110 bar. I normally would not shoot below the reg as it is not good for the rifle. This M4 is really a fun rifle to shoot.

@ 😂 but it’s true. Carry my impact m3 all season has built me some muscle. When I receive my tactical solution 10/22 i was surprised how light it was even with a vortex strike eagle 1-8x. I don’t mind the fx because I do enjoy hunting with an airgun more.

It would be great for the public if you didn't show FX rifles. In the opinion of those who know air rifles, we know that the worst thing about these rifles is the barrel. It's a total lack of respect for the consumer. If one day FX gets a grip and puts a solid barrel on it, this rifle could become one of the best on the market.
