You just pick an edge and slowly and gently peel it away.

Goldie, firtly let me say i am in love with you and your videos!! You go girl! secondly.. do you have any tips about removing modelling wax from skin cleanly? I am a total noob at FX makeup, and last evening I did a wound demo, but when i went to take off the wax it kinda blended out into my hand and stayed there... anyone give me tips!!?? Thank you!!

It's probably weird that I have two or so images saved as reference for the size of different bullet exit and entry wounds, right? Although now I think about it, would larger bullets create a more crater-like effect with 'streaks' running into the would? Also, #waxdoughnut

Can you use 3rd degree for the edges ?

This is really good, but I think the edge of the wound would be torn up more, and there would be more blood splatter.

Entry wounds are typically pretty clean, because of the speed that the bullet is travelling at. Exit wounds are usually more torn up because the bullet has been slowed by the flesh.

Kelsey Stevenson It's called cavitation. That is what causes the exit wounds to be much larger than the entry.

Yes! But for example lets say i apply it to the bridge of my nose and put 7 layers now when i take it off and want to do it again DO NOT apply it to the same spot because of risk of real scaring you can apply it to the same spot some time in the future just not constantly

And don't apply near the eyes because it can cause blindness if you accidentally get it in the eye.

Why would you use a skin shrinker when you cover it in wax?

That would depend on the size of the bullet, there are some pretty small bullets out there. But it's probably just for the sake of not having to use as much product on a demo that will probably be removed right after filming
