Thank you so much for your positive comment Felix 🙂 The Panthera is just an interesting gun. I feel like Im still getting to know it, with so much power available 😃 Saddly it seems like the 700 mm heavy liner does not stabilize the new 22 and 24 gr slugs from ZAN, but 20 gr does a pretty good job, so no worries 😃 Actually Im testing the 20.5 gr NSA these days for an upcomming video and so far they are doing a great job 😜 In case you have questions before buying a Panthera you are welcome drop me a message 👍👍

@@VikingAirgunner hi, well when I shot it the regular is 90 bar but it only comes back to 85 bar. I will have to shoot it tomorrow and watch it again. The first shot will be 865fps then it takes 10 shots to get to 950fps. Then it will stay at that fps. It just goes up a little each shot until it gets to 950. I just got it new at the first of this year. Take care.

Awesome stuff. Love the effort you put into these videos including how its all put together and how you explain your thoughts. I was watching an oldish teds hold over video the other day where he pushed slugs just under 1100fps. Worked quite well for him. I get best results around 950 ish in 22 with anything from 21grn up to 40s but i did try 1100 and it was surprisingly decent. A bit loud for me but a good test non the less. I have my 177 hw100 set for ratting at the moment so only shooting 10.4grns at 700fps honestly its like a Lazer and super quiet. Looking forward to your next video hopefully someone at fx reach out to you and get you a new m4 for all the advertisement you give them

Thank you for your comment and for sharing your experiences 🤗 I remember that video from Ted. Actually I had a goal of matching his group😃 I did a test and video of Accuracy at higher velocities and I had the same surprising experience as you. Dont remember the exact velocity but somewhere way past 1000 fps it shot a very decent group. Shot alot of crap too😂 But a fun test and video to make. I would love to get the recognition from FX in terms of guns and parts, but there is also a positive in being independent. The best recognition will always come from regular shooters who appreciate my videos and the knowledge that I share - even if it might not always be at super expert level. Just honest info about my experiences, like from one dude to another 😃

I have tried 24ghr Zan, and just gotten a box of the 22 grainers too, but i am going to try pellets in my Two on Monday. My old Cyclone is now shooting 41 food pounds with 22 grain JTS Dead Center pellets, remember that's the old ST liner so not trying slugs in it. ( .22 ) I have just cut both my 700 mm barrels for the Maverick down to unchoked 600 mm barrels, but i haven't really shot it much. Whatever happen with my shorter Maverick, if i have ruined the 2 barrels i will get a new 600 mm Heavy barrel and then just play with that. Denmark for sure best in the summer, and far from the capitol area, just too bad our summers seem to get worse and worse. PS: Short range and the 24 perform OK in my Two, last outing i made a hole in the 20 foot container that is the back stop at out 55 M range. Of course not 1 shot, but trying to shoot a 25 mm branch over, my shots often landed in the same general area, and that left a hole, fortunately there it is dual layer, CUZ inside the container is a HUGE garden pond / koi pond filter. Took the 24 grainers to around 48 foot pound.

😮no way! Yeah Dealers don’t even sell the barrel housing and shroud atleast in the states they don’t you’ll have to get ahold of fx like there’s a guy on KZbin that got a new panthera dynamic block just the main action/block I didn’t ask him details but I guess it’s obtainable.. Oh and btw you’ll get more fps like 30 or so if you drop in the 8mm hammer weight from fx I didn’t know this till recently I had installed the huma transfer port and pin probe just like you but I didn’t upgrade the hammer weight, well I picked one up and sure enough adding the hammer weight if you already put in the pin probe and transfer port gets you like I said 30-40 more fps thanks Pete I’m always happy to watch your airgun adventures

I ordered a 22 caliber FX panthera 600 mm barrel. If you're shooting 40 grain slugs at 1040 FPS you're going to get about 96 FPE out of the gun with the 700 mm. How much FPE would you lose using the 600 mm Barrel? The estimated shot count I think is around 30 to 40 shots what's a 40 grain 22 caliber. Have you experimented with this?

I havent shot the 22 cal, but I have done quite a few videos where I compare different length of barrels. Find them on my channel. Some of them are quite old - doesnt make them less funny to watch though 😃 One thing to consider in your situation. The 600 mm liner might have some difficulties stabilizing the 40 gr slugs. You might have to go down a bit 🤔🤓

Hej Jacob Ja tilladelsen er jo desværre en nødvendighed i lille DK. Men du kan trøste dig med at den er relativt enkel at få. Det kræver ikke en begrundelse. Jeg bruger en Huma model 40 3. Det vil sige, at den har 3 kamre. Fordelen ved denne er at du kan forlænge og forkorte den, og man kan få et kammer, der er halv længde, så kombinationsmulighederne for at få den helt rigtige længde er helt optimale. Saddly we are limited to 177 here in Denmark. Anything above requires a hunting licence. And further more every little bit requires a permit that takes forever to get, so 177 is much simpler to own 🙂

For some reason im getting no increase in fps with the pin/slug probe installed on the panthera, they are exactly the same as with the stock pellet probe. Im not using the dual transferport though, you think that might be the reason?

I am very sure that you are right. Turn the transfer port 180 and try the dual hole 😎 Can make the velocity more inconsistant, but nothing you cant fix with the right tune 😇

For that you need the 156 cc plenum. I guess its just the tube - and apart from that you need the parts that I show in the video 🙂 But they will have to be for your caliber 🤓

Lol. That's exactly what I said to another KZbinr he had a 700 mm Barrel on his gun plus silencer and I told him that you also go fishing with it. It's a 2 and 1. Airgun plus fishing pole.

One guy told me that you can't shoot 40 grain slugs out of this gun unless you modify it and that the 600 mm Barrel is not optimal for shooting 40 grain 22 caliber slugs you should have the 700 mm which is too long for me. What's your opinion?

@@surreallife777 without any experience with bigger calibers I usually only speak from my own experience, but in this case there are similarities. The heavier the slug the longer barrel it takes to stabilize it. In 177 the heaviest slugs are 24 gr. The heaviest that I use are the 20 gr. And shooting those in the 700 mm liner is really good, but not as good as the 16 gr. In a 600 mm barrel I would never exceed 16 gr. I was asked to tune a 600 mm (stx superior liner) for 20 gr - even if I warned against it - and it was absolutely terrible. Compared to 22 cal my suggestion would be a max of around 30 gr in a 600 mm. And of course a heavy liner. Slug weight and barrel length is about stabilisation, and an ustabile slug is not accurate. The definition of accuracy is a different thing, so many will say that you can easily use 40 gr slugs in a 600 mm barrel - and I agree to the extend that it will leave the barrel ok... 😂
