Set up a deleveraged bitcoin etf (10x LESS volitility) which buys 1/10th of BTC for every one unit of increase or sells at 1/10th for every decrease. Every “nationstate” buy is backed 100% with BTC. ETF managers charge .2% yearly fee and buy and sell 1/10th of move. China, etc. dump USD/treasuries immediately after ETF goes “live” destroying USD overnight as they use monies to buy bitcoin.

Many folks like to revisit this classic interview because it is such a pearl. It also removes FUD for bitcoiners. Had I had the conviction of this man from the start I would be more wealthy. But thanks to him I still doubled my savings. I happen to think that in time Bitcoin can become the global reserve asset. At bottom, it will continue to sap away market cap from Gold (and eventually bonds, stock market, real estate). Please take a look at Saylor’s SEC history. Paid almost $10 million after overstating his companies earnings. Recently SEC rejected his lack of transparency to MicroStrategy investors wanting to hide the company’s huge exposure to Bitcoin holdings. Remember it’s supposed to be primarily a software company that has lost money since 2013. So a company struggling to increase revenue that chooses to put its cash reserves into a speculative digital cryptocurrency is reason enough to take pause. Saylor and MicroStrategy’s history of alleged fraud is another one.

Just make sure you have a 4 year timeline, because bitcoin does lose value temporaily for up to 4 years, at which point, it climbs to a new high. This is likely because of manipulation - either a govt trying to kill it, or a rich entity trying to pump and dump it, but eventually, when we all just hold, it goes to new highs by the end of the 4 years.
