OMG Dave! Aside from not being made aware of that, which is unbelievable, what was the purpose of the welding? Not being able to repair the sacked out spring/ball/detent? I’m a bit confused. Maybe some other trouble.

Mr. Smith, we who own old rusty W.W. 2 truck know that many people have many ideas about how to make the wheel more round. OUR job is to set their whimsical ideas back to what the designer had in mind. I'm gonna follow up tomorrow. I got the spring out and it was in great shape.

It's a shame some people choose to be dishonest Dave 😟 My question is why? Why would someone only want the t-case in hi-range?

Thanks for tuning in Zane. I came up with a good saying the other day. "Most folks wish to live in the spirit of the W.W. 2 truck restoration hobby, while others insist on living in the wallet of the hobby". In this case, the parts owner just wanted to clear out his stash and put some dollars into his pocket so he could pursue his own interests.
