Double-bezel Capsule Tough construction featuring playful material combinations
The DW-001 hit the scene in 1994, featuring the Capsule Tough design concept. Casio now introduces a new evolution of the watch driven by leading-edge technologies, featuring the Carbon Core Guard structure, a metal-clad exterior, and Smartphone Link functionality. On top of all this, the detachable urethane bezel provides a playful touch, offering the choice between two bezels - metal or urethane. A reimagined form of Capsule Tough has arrived, maintaining the design of the original while taking on a fresh new character all its own.

I know right! When I just learned what the original version (DW-001) can do, I couldn't help but wanting to buy the reissue version (eventhough I am not going hiking or any other tough activities) . Thankfully I did not buy it when I learned that the B001 don't have any of that. Also, the DW-001 can also tell the time of sunrise and sunset. Shame on you, Casio. I still love you BTW, but still shame on you. You need to step up your game and don't hold yourself back. If it's for cost efficiency, forget about it. Some of us longtime fans of the brand are willing to spend their savings for a reissue Casio watch that has all of the features that the original vintage has.

I thought about that too. Now that is something Casio should work on. As a fan of the Casio's calculator watches, we would be really happy if Casio finally made a G-Shock variant of the CA-53W, DBC-611 and DB-32. With a G-Shock calculator watch, I won't need to open phone's calculator app and the Excel app, and then switching between apps, to track my daily spendings on my debit card and how much spending limit left. I could use my G-Shock calculator watch on my wrist and use the Excel app on my phone at the same time without the app switching.

there will get alot of dirt stuck under that panel and take extra time and effort to clean that, thats to much hassle i think. if i got it right, this g-shock does not has a radiocontrolled time set like that "multiband 6", i would then rather not buy it. the 5610 casio g-shock has multiband 6 and it doesnt has that detachable front panel, thats i think the better g-shock. temperature sensor on the wrist, how reliable can that be so closy to the body, temperature readings will be wrong because of the bodywarmth. i would rather like to have a compass in my g-shock, to show the directions north, west, east & south, that would make more sense for a watch, to find path somewhere and not get lost.
