A 10-year battery life, 10-bar water resistance and 10-meter dropping shock resistance.
These were the three requirements of the “Triple 10” concept that led to development G-SHOCK's shock-resistant structure.
The rugged shape and robust styling originated with an engineer's brief calling for an ""unbreakable watch"".

I had not bought other watches, only those I trusted for my work.A few days ago I bought my third G-Shock watch a dw 5600e. Now at the age of 45 I was looking for something classic and at the same time durable for all my jobs and sports, I have loved this watch and its history.

I decided to get my first g-shock the DW6900MS-1, didnt really want to get out because at that time there was a fashion trend behind it but i wanted a durable watch for everyday....that was 8 years ago and it's still running, what the in fuck dude. i have a g shock the cheapiest version. i changed at least a dozen of regular quartz watches because the environment i work with is very hostile (very low temperatures). that g-shock even though is a cheap casio for g-shock standards i can tell for sure that it can take even a nuclear blast! 😁
