'Crooked" here means rebelling, not being on the right path as society expects you to be. Letting go and showing what you really feel inside. More like acting out and being twisted, because you can't take the sadness and depression anymore. This is an anthem. Some people say Bigbang only makes love songs, but if you look closely into their lyrics, that "love" or that "girl" could be used as a metaphor for anything you're experiencing in life. Just like in this song, the girl GD's talking about could be someone's dream. He used to believe in that dream that they'll go forward hand in hand together but now it's lost. That's why the lashing. It's so human. not superficial. G-Dragon is a lyrical genius, his play with words even Koreans have a hard time deciphering his poetry because it's up to so many interpretations. That's why Bigbang's reach spans across ages cuz their songs are both deep but so relatable, no matter who you are. P.S. If you look closely, GD's backup dancers in the live version are Winner and iKon. GD's one of the most tatted artists in kpop.

He is probably the bravest idol to ever get so many tattoos. Tattoo still is frowned upon in our society, so imagine what it was like during 1st and 2nd generation. But I love that GD fxxking ignored all the hate he gets for it. Ordinary men and women began getting tattoos too, so tbh, his influence goes beyond music and fashion. He gave others courage to be themselves and try things that's been considered taboo or what we call not our way of life. Anyway, if I talk in a whole entertainment industry level, Khiphop will probably have more tattoos and style that our general society won't like.

Yep, CROOKED MV was shot in UK. The punk rock vibe and the lyrics of the song are perfectly matched. It reminds you of that messy and fuck up state of mind people go through. The anger and lashing out, the crying, and being drunk or dizzy and passing out in the end.

HE did in 2007 on both lower arms - the words “Vita Dolce” and “Moderato”. Meaning: “living a sweet life moderately”, Vita dolce Means ‘the sweet life’ in Italian. Moderato means "moderation" in Italian. HIS Tattoo on his back right shoulder was a quote from the movie “ Syd and Nancy” -“Too fast to live, too young to die” He mentioned a few times that this was his motto. 2011, GD got a A running Heart tattoo. Designed by the famous American artist Keith Haring the design symbolizes Opposition to homophobia, nuclear warfare and racism and Support for social activism.. GD also got a Dragon Ball tattooed his left shoulder the same year. Some reactors unfortunately put on false enthusiasm or make the reaction so much about themselves that the music is forgotten. I've always seen this song as GD having his heart broken so badly that nothing matters or makes sense anymore. It's like all the love has leeched away and he just wants to go out and burn the world to the ground, not literally. He's out causing trouble and people start getting fed up and pushing him away cause he's out of control. They can't see that inside he's crying his eyes out and he's acting out. I want to suggest you watch GDragon perform Obsession and She is gone at his One of a kind tour 2013. Dorian Gray has it with eng sub. Highly recommend. Crooked is about being so depressed and in pain that you cant deal with it . He goes out , party , drink , act like a deliquent to numb this pain . The crying in the bathroom was real actualy .

As other commentators have mentioned that yes, he has tattoos and that our YG babies, iKON and WINNER, were also in the live performance, I will tackle the "crooked path" portion. 삐딱 (bbi-ddak) in Hangul means "crooked" or "savage" but it has a more complex meaning than how "crooked" is used in English. In this particular song, it means that he's playing at being the bad boy AND also that he's walking the more difficult path because he is feeling self-destructive, and hopes that it will hurt the other person that he has chosen the "crooked path". But he doesn't just use the word crooked, he deliberately adds "path" (or "way to it" technically). As a philosophical term in Korean culture "path" is used symbolically in the sense of the "way/path" as the right or proper way of existence, or in the context of ongoing practices of attainment or of the full coming into being. In this song he isn't on the "straight/good way", he's on the "crooked path" which is the way to loneliness not to fulfillment. You'll find that there are a lot of KPop songs that have lyrics that include the terms road, path, or way; generally, those are in reference to the concept of the path of life which derives from Taoism. PS: There is a reason that YG was once THE label that rappers and trainees wanted to be a part of. So many amazing groups/artists came up through YG and the fans called them the YG Family: BigBang, 2ne1, PSY, Epik High, WINNER, iKON, Blackpink, AKMU, Lee Hi, Jinusean, 1TYM, Se7en, Gummy, and Treasure.
