G.E. Smith is such a great musician! I first saw him and T-Bone Wolk (bassist & multi instrumentalist) with Hall & Oates in ‘81 or ‘82 at the St. Louis Checkerdome when I was in high school. What an amazing show that was!!

Favorite thing about SNL is GE SMITH! Really pairs nice with that telecaster, takes the brittle glass out and warms it up without being weak. Did not expect that.

Cool.... my first amp back in 1969 was a Supro.
@waynepatton689Ай бұрын
I came across an original Supro back in the mid 90s that an uncle gave to me. He found it in the neighbors attic Whne he was doing some electrical work. They didn’t want it. He gave it to me. It sounded glorious. Had a 12” speaker and a tremolo circuit. Like an idiot I sold it for $150.
is there anyone cooler than G.E. Smith? A musicians musician.

Considering how many old tweed fenders he has it might be what he’s going for- I don’t love tweeds I respect them but it’s not my bag all the time. Great for what they do. This seems reminiscent of that to me. Kinda garagey cool overall tho

Great player, but honestly, it sounds awful, zero headroom, sounds like something is wrong with it. The most amazing vintage amp I ever played was a Forrest White Fender amp back in '68 before it was considered "vintage."
