Hey Glenn, the upcoming release Kyosho Ultima SB Dirt Master looks very similar. Chassis and body look pretty similar

Huge Genova fan here. 👍The quality of the kit is superb, it goes together really well, drives great and looks fantastic. 😎Only realy downside is the hop ups being on the expensive side. The Genova is gaining quite a following over here. Looking forward to seeing what the finished build will look like! Regards, David

Thanks for sharing your build. I think they were very smart to pre-build the shocks and the transmission which can sometimes be the biggest hassle in a build. It looks like Kyosho is coming out with their version called the Ultima Dirt Master. It will be interesting to see if other companies follow the trend with their retro versions.

Very nice Glenn. I won't lie, I want to get one of these. The design reminds me a lot of the RB5 and the TRF 201. Very much that era of 2wd design, which I'm fond of tbh.

Hi Glenn, thanks for sharing this, it looks like a really nice kit and I'm very tempted. I just wish it was more available in the UK. If G-Force pull their finger out and improve the international distribution I recon they could be onto a winner. I'm always wary of buying from obscure Japanese websites and the shipping and taxes really add to the cost. So come on CML Distribution, get this in your portfolio ASAP.

The Kyosho dirt master is leagues above this thing… this is clone of a cheap jegs stinger car. The Kyosho dirt master is an rb5.

Glenn thanks for doing this build video. I have the Jegs Stinger which is a clone of this car. Does anybody know if the Genova has parts available? I want those UJs and that spur gear. Mine has dog bones and a 32p spur. The spur is limiting me on gear ratio. TIA!

What I know about these is that the Jegs Stinger is a knock-off of the Genova. I have the stinger and for a brushed vintage style buggy it’s bad to the bone. I can only imagine that the Genova with adjustable turnbuckles and a brushless system would be even better
