i had Hit&Run in 1989-1992 when i started in school, my school was inclosed in slopes 3/4 the way around. as most boys i bought my G.I.Joe´s to school to "playday" one such time i lost Hit&Run on one of the slopes. circa ½ a year later i found him again by accident non of the other 300 children found him !!! thats how good his camo was.

I turned off WWE King of the Ring 93' so I could watch this. Loved this episode of Toys gone Wild! Hit & Run was my Rambo of G.I Joe. He would go on missions by his self a lot and turn the tide of battle when needed. I'll never forget the day I made my older brother Josh (Love ya Bro) so mad he threw Hit & Run at a wall and broke off Both Feet! Its funny now but I was devastated then. He became Sit & Hit after that and drove the Thunder Clap or Hammer around. Thanks for the dedication Michael and all your positive and uplifting messages. I've never felt like I was supporting you I always felt like you were supporting me. Nerdmaste and Yo Joe!

lol that's a pretty good card to put on hold so thanks! Love that Bret vs Perfect match. Good to hear you can't keep a good Joe down and Cpl. Scott still made himself useful after his injury. Haha, love the Sit & Hit code name. Nerdmasté! 🙏

Hit & Run was one of my favorite Joes. I loved the mountaineering aspect of his character a lot. I played with that figure all the time. My mom had many house plant one of which was a tree. I often played with my Joes in it. I had even slightly modified the loop on his harness by attaching a small clothing fastener to it with a twist tie. The fastener itself was somewhat horse shoe shaped and resembled an actual piece of climbing gear. I had the bag hanging down which the rope fully extended but if I lifted up on the bag it allowed the string to slide through the fastener and the figure would have repelling action. I had two of those figures and still have at least one complete. That's a great figure and has great accessories.

I was always lukewarm on Hit & Run, after watching this review I went on ebay and grabbed one! Your videos are pure gold brother. Originally found your channel through the toy museum series, and make a point now to watch all of your content because you and Luana are gifts to the youtube toy community. You carry the 80's torch like no one else. Cheers brother!!

Great Stuff!!! I got Hit & Run brand spanking new back in 1988!!! I was just cleaning him up the other day. He is still in Fantastic Shape and I have all his stuff. I don't remember ever changing the O-Ring, not that it matters. He is tight as required. One of my favorite precious Joe's!!! Along with my 1986 Beachhead (in awesome shape, Too!) and 1991 Dusty and Duke (in very good condition, Too!!!) Enjoy your stuff a lot!!! Keep 'em coming Yo Joe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This bought back a wave of such early childhood memories for me. I was either 3 or 4 when I got this figure and it was the first Joe I ever had. I loved playing with little plastic army men as a kid, so this guy was the ultimate soldier compared to them. Sadly he didn't survive my childhood, but I think I'm going to start looking to buy one down the road. I loved this figure.

The way you pose and stage your figures in these videos is so well thought-out and it reminds me of why G.I. Joes were so awesome in the first place! My brother had the target exclusive Hit & Run and it was one of the coolest figures we had... I didn't know it was a Target exclusive thing (because why would I have known that until now?)

That was a really entertaining review, Michael, and I have to add, some beautiful scenery as well. Thank you for sharing it. I was pretty much out of G.I. Joe by '88; I only have a handful of that year's figures. I did just acquire Storm Shadow V2 however. Maybe Hit & Run can join him at some point.

Hit run was an awesome looking figure. I remember when I got him. I was 15 and had been done playing with GI JOE figures for about 2 years. But I was in toy r us and saw the Warthog vehicle and Hit and Run. I thought they where both so freaking cool. I just had to have them. Even though I would, technically never really play with the figure. I just had to have him ,because of the way he looked.

Hit and Run's specialty definitely patters after a few modern military units where repelling is used. Those are the 101st Airbourne Divison (Air- Assualt) in KY, 10th Mountain Light Infantry Divison in NY, and 6th Infantry Division in Alaska. I loved the RipCord cameo in this video.

I think I just about used that weapon with who ever was my main character in all my playtime scenarios, mostly Shockwave. Either that one or the Viper's AR. I absolutely love the outdoors element to this review, brings Joe play times back of old! NERDMASTE'! 😊

These videos are so good! Still got my Hit & Run (sans accessories), in pretty good condition, too. One of the all-time best figures, for sure. My brothers and I loved G.I. Joe when we were kids, as did most of our friends, but finding the vintage ones seems to be nearly impossible here in Australia now. I'm thinking of expanding my collection and wanted to start by repairing/completing my '87 Falcon. Any tips?

Heh, looks like this guy is so darn hard to find and/or pin down that his file cards can't even agree if he's originally from Sioux City, Iowa in the States or Basildon, Essex in the UK, yes...?! (See 4.56 and 6.16 respectively for proof...). I remember that the Tiger Force version of Hit and Run was one of the few Joes that I had as a kid - I remember being quite impressed by his 'realistic'-looking gun for one thing! (In fact, the whole idea of Tiger Force seemed to be pretty cool to me back in the day...hopefully you'll get a chance to cover them in more detail in your History of GI Joe videos in due course, yes?).

nice Hit & run has always been a fav of mine though I got to say the 25th version was a disappointment ,he seemed to skinny . the 50th and club versions where a much needed improvement just a shame they go for silly money , its also funny to note in Brazil he was released without the green skin but still had the face and arm Camo :)
