In my opinion, the most impactful players in this game is Slayer, Savior, and Bisu. Each of which can be called revolutionists for their race, and has changed the gameplay strategy and dynamics and reversed its standing in their most difficult times respectively.

As somebody who legit missed everything BW from about '08~'09 to this year, I would say that it might be getting there! For sure, it is still far to prime days, but I am positively surprised by the level of players and games being played and general interest in BW! I thought it's dead, all pros in SC2 and all..

Would there be an incentive to going gas first ever as terran? Just to avoid the steal on 1v1 maps

The problem of gas first is if toss doing proxy gateway or in close spwan game is almost done. unless you have much better micro skills than toss guy. Less marin, late bunker will hit hard. But player like sharp still prefer gas first. He got yt account check his games or streams.

This is a great example of showing that Terran really has to find a way to take an <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="420">7:00</a>-<a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="450">7:30</a> third just before the Reaver hits. If toss is going to take a greedy third you have to make them hit yours and then win the fight there. But I know nothing, for real. :)

Finally a protoss wins, the fact that the Protoss has to have 300 apm above his opponent to stand a chance at a lucky cheese victory shows that Terran is overpowered. When blizzard hires me to rebalance starcraft, I'll make Terran the balance race by: - Terran loses SCV everytime it constructs a building (similar to drone) - Siege tank range decreased by 1 - Siege tank unseige mode damage reduced by 10 - Siege tank siege / unsiege mode animation increased to 10 seconds. This will help balance up the matchup a bit.

I’m glad you’re a logical thinker. Someone posted he haS* the highest amount of wins or win/loss for Protoss in asl. Not many deep runs in it. As I pointed out, he wins majority of group matches, against lower levels, but once against a decent opponent he loses.
