According the cook book I had from a French chef, you bake it to light brown, take them out to shape them, then put them back in the oven to bake for couple more minutes for crispy. I like how easy your recipe is.

I failed.... The cookies sticked to the baking sheet and unable to remove it 😭
Thanks! Can start baking for CNY (Chinese New Year) as we are about 10 weeks away (and still in conditional lockdown in Malaysia.. T_T) or even as snacks.

Or can I bake the almond slice for a while before put them on the dough ? So the almond can be more golden as a better result?
