CREB protein - cyclic amp response element binding protein is a kind of transcription factor which bind to CRE- cyclic amp response element, kind of promoter region or specific gene sequence for cyclic amp response. Which will transcript mRNA molecules and then ultimately protein- this protein could be ion channels.
