G Scale Manned Helper Operations On My Mountain Subdivision (Part 1)

This is a short video that follows a manifest freight train over the layout that is being assisted over my Mountain Sub by rear end manned helpers. Yes....these are actually helpers controlled by a separate remote control than the head end power. I narrate this video and discuss the difference between manned helpers and DPUs in freight operations. I will also discuss how manned helper operators need to control the speed and slack in a train to prevent accidents during movements. There are also plenty of action shots to view with big BNSF and plenty of foreign power. Sit back and enjoy true g scale mountain railroading action.
