Very enlightening! These very effective waza require no physical power. I see the roots of Aikido in what Seki sensei is demonstrating. Wonderful! Thank you!
Man, there's so much detail build into the concept of taking the enemy's weapon. Like understand how to grab the weapon such that it is hard for the owner to keep the weapon and force them to retreat. The best part I like the most is how after taking the weapon, one of the stance is actually preparing to throw the weapon back to the owner to "return it" 😂 The incorporation of aikido/juujutsu is very impressive. Even the difference of bending or straighten the arm is considered. I guess it has to do with torque? or maybe it is just better to transfer the weight. Which ever it is, the level of detail is very eye-opening.

Without knowing the purpose,it looks like just a dance. Knowing so makes all the difference.
