G0SEC Shack Update Weather Station Installation Nearly Complete!

A quick update on my new ham shack build, this week the work was done on my weather station, this took a while to do but it is nearly completed now, just waiting on a new power adapter to arrive and it is then going to be put in the wall in a conduit and filled over so it will be nice and neat in the corner of the new shack.

James, don't leave that masking tape on the edges of your counter top for any longer than necessary. This is because the adhesive on the tape will harden over time making it extremely difficult to remove and you will need to use a chemical solvent to remove it which may damage the surface underneath the tape. I would suggest that if you need to protect the edge for any length of time, that you use some foam pipe insulation. It is very pliable and is slit down one side so that you can slip it over the edge of the counter top to protect it. You can get the pipe insulation from Screwfix, or any good plumber's merchant. I would avoid B&Q as their prices are way over the top for this sort of thing.

Good job you told me it was hard to get off and had to use some sticky stuff remover so thanks for that, now going to get as u suggested to me....
