The New Ham Shack of G0SEC, finally Completed!!

A quick video of my new shack completed. I hope this gives other hams some ideas from what I have done myself. The desk was built by myself and took about 16 months to complete due to an illness I have but I was determined to do a little on it each day when I could to get it all finished.
I will do some more videos in the future of how I built it all as I took videos and pictures from start to finish.

I really am impressed at the engineering that went into your shack. Impressive how all of your equipment fits into their cubby holes, the zones for sound, radio, power/antenna. The balance of placement and wire management for all of the ancillary components. The clean installation of your tower. Placement of clocks and dual use monitors are brilliant. We have all seen some great shacks. Your shack sir, is the pinnacle of anything I have ever seen on the tube.

Very impressive. Beyond me all that Technology. Recently got back into Radio. Most of my old kit was valves. All sold years ago. My pension doesnt stretch far these days so gone minimalist with QRP making stuff from scrap. Love the aerials. Your shack is fantastic. All of the shacks in your videos are fantastic. I moved a couple of months ago and still haven't finished the shack or putting up all the antennas. I want to put up at satellite antenna at least for RX. My main radio is a Yaesu FT-847 which has satellite functions. Nice to see another video from you. I wish you well. 73 DE KK6FVP

Hang in there Ham Shack man. You will eventually graduate to a full Ham Shack with all of the nifty toys. I remember when I only had a few gadgets. James, This really is an amazing set up. Perhaps, on top of everything else that you’ve done here, you might put together a bit of a blueprint or schematic so that we can see what’s here in your ham shack. Not so much to copycat it, but just to get an idea of the different types of equipment that you’re running.
