I remember this guy because he was one of the first G1 toys I got at a convention. I found him in a bin with no gun for six bucks, accompanied by loose Jumpstarters for far less. As Car Robots/RiD was the thing at the time, I was very happy to find Prime's pistol fit in his gun hole. The fact that so few fans care about him or the other Monsterbots makes him all the more special to me.

I just love this guy...he stands with my G1 Snarl and Hun Grrr. I just got the amazing Giga Snarl and would love Giga to do Twin Ferno in the same scale

I think I know were you remember the chest buzzsaw from. In the late 2000's, there was a Bakugan character named Hydranoid who had 2 heads and a large buzzsaw in his chest. The character was a mascot of the show so you probably saw his pictue back when Bakugan was popular.

doublecross likely gets his name from the fact that in dragon mode he has 2 personalities. the 2 dont get along either. when he transformers, its random which personality will be in control. which rarely works out for doublecross. so he double crosses himself. also, despite how dangerous his rifle IS or sounds, his fire blast power is 1.

Also, i swear to god this guy was probably insane or at least REALLY dedicated to murdering things, given his alt mode being a 2 headed effing DRAGON, and his gun shooting cosmic rust. This plus his name.... How is he an autobot again? Who knows? Either way, its actually pretty unique for an autobot to be this downright vicious. My personal favorite G1 figure, even though I don't have him yet... Curse you ebay prices.

Pretty neat for G1, ya don't normally see that articulation on a figure from the '80s. Love the way those dragon heads look. No way that Gigan-esque buzzsaw was an accident :P (Though on your earlier comment, Snapdragon's dinosaur mode (which really doesn't look very T-rex-ish) is only one of two beast modes. When doing size comparisons please use other G1 figures for a size comparison and not some other generation Transformer. For example: put him next to G1 Optimus Prime. Also, this Double Cross Transformer is the only Transformer that has a level 1 on strength on his tech specs.
