to his their own, some people like them some don't, I love the feel of glocks, well at first no but upgrades to it yes for sure better feel I use to carry 1911 but carry the flock now after upgrades, on point now no issues

I’ve got a 19C done by Ryco that’s done in a distressed red, white and blue with “We the People” on it….Glocks look amazing when customized.

So how well does the grip and slide finish stand up to being holstered and unholstered everyday? I know on the factory slide finish a oiled rag brings the finish back to life on my slides.

Deburr the slide cuts before you paint them. The yellow really enhances those burrs

I like the 19, but that 42 looks like something I would want when I was 9 yrs old. It just looks to much like a toy in my eyes, but the owner can definitely say his is one of a kind. And he'd definitely turn heads at the range when they catch a reflection of the range lights off that gun

I didn't do the color schemes as my Glock is used as a workhorse, but the stipple work they do here is matched by none. If you're on the fence about it just do it. It's worth the wait and the $.

The G19 looks cool. The other one looks like a toy. I'm still glad I run Walthers primarily because there's no need to fool with the triggers and the ergos are much better out the box.

Great looking and the Trijicon HD sights are awesome - I run those on 3 of mine. Do you guys have to manufacture a new frame to use the carbon fiber, or is that applied on an existing Glock frame?

That isn't carbon fiber. That's a hydro-dipped carbon fiber overlay (hopefully with enough layers for clearcoat)

I think the carbon fiber frame looks more gaudy than the gold slide. The gold looks cool. The carbon fiber reminds me of a slammed honda civic with a fart can exhaust.

it is hydrodipped. the have a big tub of a chemical and put a carbon fiber look a like film in the chemical and dip the lower into it. the film sticks to the lower. look up hydro dipping on youtube

Well, I like the sights... Not to sure about the barbed wire grip, the 8-Ball shift knob on the slide(Hurst shifter option), nor the 26" mags on each side of the slide. If you grew up in the 80's and 90's, you've seen toys that went for the same look as these modifications. Function > Form
