My first Glock was a Glock 29. Wanted both a powerful handgun that I could carry in the woods but also meets my concealed carry needs at the same time. Might need to add a Gen 5 G29 to the collection to fulfill my 10mm dual-wield range fantasy!

I currently own and EDC my Glock G30 G3. Yes it’s an older model Glock but still performs fantastic!!! So far zero issues & zero misfires!!! Lots of fantastic reviews on the G30 G3!! I subscribed!!!

Love my Gen4 29. Had to get a clip extension because it felt weird having my pinky finger free. Super accurate, decent recoil, hits hard, total package.

@@LeakyJoosbox Black Point Tactical makes all of my holsters, used them for years. They are hybrid with leather backer and side "wings" that tug the kydex shell close to the body.

I’m so glad the gen 5 30 finally came out. I’ve been waiting for it. My fat fingers do not line up with the finer grooves, so I’m very happy now!

I had to get my “Book of Glock” by Sadowski out to check the size of these. 😄 I’m in the process of changing out my G42 for something I can’t limp wrist. I already have a G26 and it seems that the 29 and 30 are just different calibers but almost identical to what I have. Love the smooth grip of gen 5s, though! (My brother ordered a new spring for my .380 and he’s gonna try coaching me a little at the range to see if I can master the tiny Glock…)

Why not make the performance trigger the new standard trigger for all models?

There's something about the performance trigger that if if you don't put your finger on the trigger just right the safety will catch the frame and you can't fire. The normal trigger is better for self defense imo, in a stressful situation where milliseconds count I'd prefer depend on the normal trigger that will pull back no matter how awkward you played your finger across the safety. Maybe the performance trigger with the standard shoe would be perfect

I wish they make the G30S MOS. Had to use a dove tail mounted plate in order to mount my RMR on there. They should just make every model with the MOS option.

Glock Fanboy here! I have been rocking the G21 since 1993, probably 15K rounds in thirty years, still flawless. I love the 43X and the 42. How does a 42X sound? Now that I am a little bit older, the 42X in .380 would be awesome!

It won't at "3 feet", but these guns are not "point and shoot subs", and most people shoot them at distances much longer than 3-5 feet. @@calvinnelsonjr6465

Love my Gen 4 G30 thats such a sweet shooter but a bit thick when carrying so I'm drawn to the G30S for CCW.

Carried the G29 Gen 4 as my brilliant woods gun for a few years, then the SA XDM Elite 3.8 10mm came out. Better trigger, factory 11 and 15rd magazines, optics ready, better sights, better ergonomics and no need to add hundreds in aftermarket parts. Plus, 7/8" group at 25 yards. Was hoping the Gen 5 G29 would be more of an improvement, but it just made it a little better than the old one and nowhere near as good as the XDM.

The Gen5 is an SF equivalent. You can add backstops to the Gen5 models so the frame starts out "shorter" already.

All are great except for the front serration. No excuses for this only a panacea of cool. Let's do it with barrel grasp serrations. This is for all pistols.
