G37 CARBON FIBER HOOD GAP FIX!!!

Today I’m fixing the infamous G37 Carbon Fiber Hood gap that usually comes with all the racing brands like ViS , Seibon, and Carbon creations. The process is a little different for the 03-06 G35 carbon hoods. It is not the same process!

Ofcourse! But just make sure to leave enough material on your first cut so that you don’t over do it and have to by more latches!

Is there a fix for the hood struts not holding up this hood? I didn’t know that it’s actually heavier then the oem aluminum hood and now my oem hood struts won’t keep the hood up when I open it to work on anything in the engine bay.

Yes it should be! Just make sure when your cutting the spring to cut it off little by little so you don’t over do it would be my only tip!

All you had to do is remove that Spring and your hood will set flush against the car itself you do not have to do all that cut

Nopeee don’t do it. Your hood will be more likely to fly up will your driving! You need the 3 points of contact for security! Do it at your own risk!

You used the Oem hood struts and didn't Crack? And also fam if you're doing over 100mph wouldn't the hood start going up and down? And are the hood pins really necessary
