Dude. That went from "I would never run that hood with that fitment" to fitment looks fan-fu*kin-tastic!! Well done man! Something so simple, yet so impactful. Side note, really enjoy your content. Thank you for sharing!

I have the same exact problem on my Subaru Impreza and had a similar idea of using washers to raise the bumper to line up with the hood. Really glad to see that someone out there did something very similar and had great results. Thanks!

Well done, great fix 👍🏻 That gap would have driven me crazy. Made me laugh when you say you bought the 3D printer a couple of years ago ‘but not sure why’, I can relate as I’ve bought many gadgets in my time without rhyme or reason, just cause they’re cool and in the hope I find a use for them one day 😂

Would love to know the thread pitch/diameter specs for the bolts you picked up. BMW reference the main 6 as M6x20 but the M6 bolts I picked up don't thread correctly. I presume the two smaller ones that go into the headlights are just plain self tappers? Thank you!

Do you have the design for those 3d printed parts - having same issue.
@eslanek785 Жыл бұрын
That gap is because the bumper foam was compressed, it is easier to add some foam in the area of the beam
@spussego3 жыл бұрын
that front hood gap was one of the worst things about the Seibon carbon fiber hoods..... those Nylon spaces you printed up should be included with the hood in my opinion.... also instead of the washers you could just add about 1-1.5 more millimeters to each spacer and it would be perfect.....
@JDCarsChannel3 жыл бұрын
I totally agree! 100% they should be included. Should we print sets and offer on our website?
@mackeal172 жыл бұрын

You do realise the bolts right behind the bumper bolts you took off are for that reason right. Those spacers aren't needed
