In this video I'm getting my custom red interior seats finished up. This is all custom leather, not seat covers! I'll show how to remove the rear seats, plus a quick drive through downtown Panama City, FL 6 months after Hurricane Michael on my way to the upholstery shop, Santos' Upholstery.

Hey thanks! Spoiler is awesome, looks great, no issues. Sounds like a lot of people have fitment issues with those not lining up with the camera. Guess I got lucky, mine was spot on, installed as directed.

You went by too quick for me. Where is the lever that pulls down the rear seat. I believe you said trunk. I have a 2013 G37 coupe. I don't see it.

How much do the rear seats weight estimated? I’m debating if they’re worth taking out of my coupe for weight savings. Btw love that yours is stick too

Hey thanks for watching. Yea unlike the front seats, the rear bench is 90% foam so it weighs next to nothing, about 6 maybe 8 lbs and most of that is probably the leather and vinyl lol. No real weight savings with the bench. The front seats on the other hand are very heavy!

May I ask how much did it cost to get your sets upholstered ?

$600 for the front (included the door panels) and $500 for the back seats. I did the front seats first and waited to do the rears, but literally half what other people quoted me. So the rear bottom seats just pull it up to remove? no need to remove the top correct? Im just trying to insulate it like you did for the drone sound. tia .

yes just pull straight up really hard to the point you feel like you're going to break it and then it will pop out.

you mean the little carpeted section with the 3rd brake light behind between the rear glass and rear headrests? If so, never tried to remove it, but I imagine it's no more than a few bolts from under the trunk. I no longer have the car to check so maybe someone else can chime in.

My bro off topic but at 33 sec I saw that your baby seat was attached over the locking mechanism that's incorrect as I have a G wth a baby seat pls my friend for your families safety attach seatbelt under locking mechanism next car have a good day my friend.

🤣 the car seat wasnt secured for the video, I had taken it out and then set it back in temporarily for a place holder in the video. I used to work NICU and do carsewt check offs...Rest assured when I used a car seat in the car it was not only anchored, but also seat belted correctly. But I do appreciate your concern 💪

How much do those seats weight together?

The rear seats weigh hardly anything it's just leather and foam, the seat cushions might weigh 8 lbs for the bottom portion. The top portion weighs a little bit more as it has the mechanism in it, maybe 20 lbs altogether top and bottom portions. The front seats are where the weight it, they're about 88lbs each, but they feel a lot heavier than that if you ever have to take them out.

ebay for about $80 total for front and back.....same as the ones on facebook and instagram people charge $150+ for...they all come from China out of the same place, but I wouldn't order any right now due to COVID19 :)
