Then he explodes out of this low position with his shoulder and the defender has no choice but to lean back or try to contest across his body--lots of and-1s either way. D-Wade actually used to play DEFENCE at a high level. Don't let the 1st team defense snubs which ended up going to Kobe fool you. I love Kobe but he didn't play D like Wade at this point of their careers. Guys like Steph and Harden put up nice numbers but cruise on the other side of the ball. Actually, in retrospect, Curry might lose to rookie Dwade one on one for those exact reasons. He's not going to be breaking him down with dribble too often (Curry struggled to do so against damn near 40 year old knees Tim Duncan and Kevin Love) and no illegal screens to get him open looks (Draymond, you look more like a pass blocker than a screener). On the defensive end, Curry might rip him a few times with those quick hands of his, but even rookie Dwade could probably just get a head of steam and take it to the rim almost every time.

Can someone please tell me how you drives in so well? Cause he makes it look like the defense he's against is just shitty or not trying, and I know that's not true.. What's the secret to his game that has defenders "stuck in the mud?" Is it pure speed, hesitation/change of pace, handle, ability to see holes in the defense, or a combination of all those? And is there anything I missed? How can I improve my driving/weaving ability? I feel like I can never really fool a defender to commit to a side so much that I can just run right past him and face the next guy.. P.S. I've always been a shooter, and I just really want to add more to my game. Thanks
