I love how there is nothing politically correct about Voddie Baucham, but I also love how well-spoken he is. He gives you the message straight from the Word with no twist on it to protect your feelings. So many pastors avoid certain political topics because it may be too controversial or too offensive to people, but Voddie isn't afraid to talk about those topics. This message in particular is INCREDIBLY uncommon to hear in the church today. The church wants us to look at Jesus and this nice guy that's soft and loves everyone. And while yes, He does indeed love everyone, He's also part of the Trinity, sitting at the right hand of the Father, just as Scripture says. Jesus isn't an entirely peaceful Lord. He flipped tables, He got angry, and He was in agreeance with every decision God the Father made since the beginning of time. Every time Israel was punished for its sin, Jesus was there and was in agreeance with it. While Jesus does unconditionally love us, He is also the supreme, sovereign, Lord of all creation who answers to NO ONE, and we are to bow to Him, serve Him faithfully, and do His perfect Will as He commands us in Scripture.

He stands on the Mt and it divides into the shape of a cross. That's powerful in a couple of ways at least. I made the mistake of reading Revelation as a new Christian. 😅 Then I tried reading the Bible from beginning to end and almost gave up reading when I got into Deuteronomy...I was like, "I just can't get through all these rules, laws..." I told my mom how I was struggling and I was grateful that she told me to start with the new testament Matthew... That was exactly where I needed to start. It was really important for me to read what Jesus had to say. I was extremely surprised at how no one really ever taught it to me like how it was given to me as I read it. I've also realized how many twist the scriptures.

I'm glad that you do not mourn the way others want you to mourn. If you have shared the TRUTH of the WORD with him, you do not have to worry because you know that he is in heaven. Do not live now to die one day to see your son, but live now for GOD so that you will see Jesus and the FATHER one day because that should be our goal. In heaven are no earthly families but a heavenly family because we have been adopted by GOD into HIS family. You will however see him and recognize him but your life on earth would remain on earth and become but a vapour. My prayer is that the Comforter would wrap HIS loving arms around you and bless you with HIS peace. From someone who also lost loved ones recently.

Do you mean half truth Jesus is the son of God . Jesus died for 3 days 3 nights so are you telling me God died to , being that this man say Jesus and God are the same. So when Jesus pray he is praying to himself then? Y’all have to think for y’all self. When Jesus was being crucified he said Father forgive them. Jesus in his preaching constantly say his father this or that. Personally I believe the New Testament is poorly written. Mathew has one version of the same story and so is Luke , Paul say three different things for the same letter. Imagine a river talking to the one and only mountain on the earth topped with snow and ice, with one hot spring that produces steam and its raining up there. The river says "Source of all water, I am your form, although they have dammed and drained me, I know I will be caught up in the clouds again to form rain at the top of the mountain where you are and will become one with you again". Years ago, as a music director at a Prez church, I submitted the song, "Awesome God". The Pastor shot it down, saying the song made God "sound mean". I was certain that he was kidding but was flabbergasted to realize that he was SERIOUS! It was then that I knew my time there should be limited. Jesus was presented, not merely as "nice", but as Casper Milquetoast. My God is Awesome, in the original sense of the word, not as a synonym for "cool", as in the youth vernacular.

I think one of the reasons "The Chosen" is so popular. It feeds into the culture picture of Jesus. He is just friendly and loving.

I had to stop watching the Chosen after first season. Dallas said Mormons Jesus is my Jesus. Mormons support and profit from the show. Jesus is portrayed not like what Voddie presented here.

I love the way Voddie and Gino teach because the way they gives the message is very clear and straight and I can actually understand the message. Unlike other preaching so loud, and heavy breathing, harking, hollering and the whole time they are not saving souls.

When i read about Christ willingly being scorched, mocked, spit on, and finally being Crucified for his children that is to me and i thank the holy spirit for allowing me to see this, that is by no means a weak king. I’ve often wished Voddie was blessed with the original “Gift of Tongues” not the psychobabble of evangelicals but the real gift received by the Apostles, the ability to be understood by all nations.
