I have a G8 and that starting HP had me scratching my head with the title saying just G8. Then I saw that tail lights and said okay GT line, that horsepower now makes more sense then. Still wish I can just drive a GXP model at least one time. That LS3 V8 engine YES.

I'll be keeping the mach shorty on mine if I ever do headers haha. These cars do have a good amount of sound deadening, swapping cars with a friend for a drive through town and following mine made me realize how loud it is even with the mach on it and stock manifolds/cats.

Great video. Mine made 280-290hp stock. 350ish full exhaust. 420ish 223/231 cam. (On the same dyno) Not sure what to make of the headers as my KOOKS headers look different. Quality of mine is ample better. Had KOOKS on four of my cars and they never looked like yours. Hope KOOKS is not going downhill....

Im jealous of the room there is to do headers. You can reach bolts from the top or bottom. Gotta pull the motor or drop the k member with a 4.6 4v, it wasnt fun.

You had a choice of 3 Solo exhausts. Mach, Mach shorty, and you picked Street Race the one without a muffler. You picked the lowest cost and the loudest one. Should have picked the Mach. Sounds better and roars at WOT, but is almost stock quiet at highway cruise.
