Depending on how one likes to visualize, I like to screen record and view back this way. You can clearly see where the Learn Table is showing either transients or other data that isn't accurate to the other areas of the fuel table that are close. May be easier then going through a full datalog. Thanks Joe for all your efforts that help us.

I think you missed that there’s a Haltech SetUp Wizard that asks you all the questions about your engine (the cam, the displacement etc) and that does your tune set up. It’s also a long learn map model aka the more you run the engine the more it TUNES ITSELF. You don’t need a “guy” or a tune file.

I have a question. You ever had a Dominator box that would randomly drop one injector ground only after heat soak start up and come back from cycling the key? Mine dose it all the time but will come back as soon as I turn it off and restart it a few times. it’s never the same cylinder that drops but random. it has dropped two injector grounds at the same time as well but rarely. It only happens after I shut it off while hot and restarting after about 10 minutes. Data log shows nothing I can find. Holley seems to think its a software issue. I have tried about everything to fix this but it sucks spending 5k on efi only to have stupid problems and horrible customer service. Thanks for any input.

What fan do you normally use to keep the cars cool. I have a Dyno Dynamics chassis dyno. The fan is the biggest struggle so far. I had a small 240V fan used for firefighting that worked better, but customers complained that it wasn't what they saw in magazines when they came in... so the overheating problems where automatically my fault in their mind. Then I bought the exact fan most use - Patterson 30" H30A to shut those comments up. It's not as good, more air going around the car than directed where its needed.
@JoeSimpsonAtTempest12 күн бұрын
I use the mainline fan. I don’t think I’ve ever had anybody complain about my fan even when i just had crappy fans haha

I just helped a customer swap injectors with a really sorted fuel map and all the right flow and dead time data and it was still off 10-15% everywhere. It was closer at idle but much further away on boost. It was pretty much what you showed here as far as how much work to get the new injectors to be happy
@lukk427312 күн бұрын
@@TurbineResearch I went from old school 1600's to FIC "1650's". Came with all the data showing 1650cc flow at 43.5 psi on their test rig. The car was way leaner on the FICs. Wound up setting the injector size to 1450 to get things lined up. I found that injector from the factory is rated 1650 at 58psi which is right around 1450 at 43.5psi. Imagine that. Later I flowed them myself and still got 1450 at 43.5 psi using 2 wally 255s on e85. So honestly their flow data seemed off for some reason.
