For tracking checkout we need to switch to Shopify Plus plan , other than checkout event you can track all the events

Usually, the data layer doesn't work for checkout events in the basic Shopify plan but we can track checkout events as a button-click event.

Will Google Analytics automatically pass the conversion data back to Google Ads? I'm a little confused as I'm very new to this. Thanks once again.

If you want to track conversion from the Google Ads Platform then you need to set up Google Ads conversion tracking or if you want to import conversions from GA4 to Google ads and want to use GA4 conversion as conversion then you can also do it, Thanks.

It usually takes 24 to 48 hours to show data in GA4, so you can check the real-time data in the debug view or real-time section.

You can check debug view while previewing. If you see data in GA4 debug view section then GA4 will obviously show data within 24 to 48 hours@@holadnn

Unfortunately you will not be able to create remove_from_cart event with this data layer, I will try to use a different data layer by which we can track remove from cart, If it works I will make a video on it.
